FreightMetria provides practical freight and packaging calculations for people preparing cargo, comparing pack sizes or checking a shipment plan.
Understand space and weight
The tools cover cubic meters, package volume, dimensional and chargeable weight, pallet and container estimates, carton fit, density, loading meters, LCL weight-or-measure, unit conversion and volume utilization.
Each calculation page explains its formula, includes a worked example and states the assumptions that can affect the result. You can use the tools without creating an account.
Calculations stay in your browser
The mathematics runs on your device. There is no calculation API and no account-based shipment storage. You can copy a result, create a share URL or use your browser’s print dialog to save a PDF.
A share URL can contain entered calculation values. Share it only with people who should have those values. Our privacy information explains local preferences, website delivery and optional third-party services.
Visible assumptions, traceable references
Dimensions are normalized to meters, volume to cubic meters and weight to kilograms before calculation. Dimensional divisors and equipment dimensions remain visible and editable.
Our reference resources identify the original source and review date for equipment presets. A published example is a starting point; your assigned equipment and carrier terms take precedence.
What these tools do not provide
The website does not issue freight quotes, book shipments, track cargo or certify loading safety. Its rectangular fit estimates do not replace a detailed load plan. Check the limitations before relying on an estimate.
